Flight Information for USA/Canada
Travel dates to The Global Gathering are as follows:
MAIN DATE GROUP FLIGHTS
Depart Americas: Thursday 11 July
Depart Lisbon: Sunday 14 July
Group Flights - USA
This year for main date travel there are THREE (3) group blocks from Boston, New York JFK and New York Newark. Travelling on the main dates will give two (2) nights in Lisbon. Domestic travel to these airports from other ports can be requested in the registration.
Group Blocks are ECONOMY class only, there are no group seats in premium economy or business class.
Due to peak season in Europe group blocks are return flights only i.e cannot book one direction flight from group blocks.
Group Flights - Canada
This year for main date travel there is a group flight with Air Canada from Toronto. Travelling on the main dates will give two (2) nights in Lisbon. Domestic travel to/from Toronto from other ports can be requested in the registration.
Group Blocks are ECONOMY class only, there are no group seats in premium economy or business class.
Due to peak season in Europe group blocks are return flights only i.e cannot book one direction flight from group blocks.

Deviations from Group Blocks / Changes to Group Blocks
There are a very limited number of changes permitted on the Group Blocks and changes will be managed on a request basis subject to availability.
Any applicable fare difference and a change fee will be charged and calculated based on availability at the time of request to the airline.
Regional Connections
Domestic connecting flights will be booked for those travelling from regional ports. If accommodation is required at an airport, the GG Air Team will manage this.
Seating and Frequent Flyer Memberships
For preferred seating you will need to manage this directly on the airline's website via Manage Booking, charges may apply.
Alternate Flight Requests
For those who require different flights to the existing GG group blocks being held or outside the main dates for regional departures, select ALTERNATE FLIGHT REQUEST in the flight section. You will need to provide information in your registration so the GG team can manage your request.
You will not be reimbursed for flights if you book and ticket your own booking through another channel.
All delegates must arrive in Lisbon by 4pm on Friday 12th July and may depart anytime from Sunday 14th July.
Changes to bookings after registration
For changes after completing your registration an administration fee of $55 will be charged to the delegate via credit card plus any airline fee or airfare difference.
