With a focus on leadership, development and networking, the conference will feature examples of leading practice, lessons learned and emerging regulatory and industry issues for professionals in health and safety, environmental management and community engagement.

Conference Program

Your ticket to the conference includes two days of conference sessions, food and beverages during those two days and your ticket to the HSEC Awards Dinner.

There are also a number of optional functions that you can choose to attend to make the most of your time at the HSEC Conference. Please make your selections below. 
 

Technical Stream Sessions

The conference will split into two streams for technical content at different times. Please let us know if you plan to attend the health & safety technical sessions or the environment & community technical sessions. You aren't limited to only those sessions, but by indicating your preference you will help us plan for an enjoyable experience in all rooms at the conference.

Future Leaders Connect

Future Leaders Connect is a free professional development workshop for anyone aged 30 and under in the NSW mining industry, whether you’re attending the conference or from the local region.

Connect with like-minded people in your age group and take part in a workshop facilitated by Edwin Smith on how you can leverage your own brand through social media to advance your career.

2025 NSW Mining HSEC Awards Dinner

Accommodation

Accommodation is available at Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, and you can book directly below. 

If you require accommodation, please select your check-in and check-out dates below and click 'Search' to see your accommodation options.

Limited rooms are available on Sunday, 3rd and Tuesday, 5th August. If you are unable to select those dates below, please book accommodation on Monday, 4th August and leave a note in the text box below. A member of the FCM Events Team will contact you to help finalise your booking.

You may pay confirm and pay for your accommodation as part of your registration either via credit card, or via EFT (electronic funds transfer) within 7 days. You will also need to provide your credit card details below as a guarantee for personal incidentals during your stay, but this will not be charged until you arrive at Rydges Resort.

Terms and Conditions

Cancellation of Attendance

Cancellations must be notified in writing to FCM Meetings & Events. Cancellations received on or prior to Friday, 04 July 2025 will incur a $100 administration charge. Cancellations received after Friday, 04 July 2025 will not be refunded.

Transfer of Registration

Transfer of registration must be made in writing to FCM Meetings & Events. Registration transfers received on or after Friday, 25 July 2025 will cost $100.00 per transfer.  We will require payment by credit card at the time of the transfer request.

Accommodation

You are responsible for settling your personal incidentals upon check-out.

Cancellation or Change of Accommodation

Any changes or cancellations to your accommodation must be made in writing to FCM Meetings & Events and not directly to the hotel. Cancellations requested after Tuesday, 04 July 2025 will not be refunded. If you need to change your accommodation, we will be required to charge a $20.00 administration fee per change and we will require payment by credit card at the time of the change request. Thank you for understanding.

Photography/Videography

You may appear in photos/videos taken from the event that could be shared and published online.

Travel Insurance

You are responsible to obtain appropriate travel insurance cover for your travel arrangements associated with your attendance at the event.
