The information on this site is for students who have been nominated by their universities to travel to Melbourne, Victoria and have received an invitation to register their travel details.
You must register your travel details, book and pay for your flights through the link provided in your invitation email. The link is personalised and cannot be used by anyone else.

You must hold a valid student visa to participate in the International Student Arrivals Plan and meet your visa conditions. Please refer to the Australian Department of Home Affairs website for more information on applicable visa conditions.
Visa Rebate
Prime Minister Scott Morrison recently announced international students arriving in Australia (hyperlink: https://www.pm.gov.au/media/press-conference-canberra-act-38) from 19 January 2022 will have their visa fee rebated for a period of eight weeks (until 16 March 2022)
The students must have arrived in Australia to claim the rebate. The visa application fees will be rebated through the Department of Home Affairs (hyperlink: https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/news-media/archive/article?itemId=812)
Your e-ticket will be sent one week before your travel date and will include information on checking in for your flight, baggage allowance, transit and restrictions on liquids.
Your e-ticket is not a boarding pass.
You will need to complete an online Australia Travel Declaration at least 72 hours before your departure to Australia.
The Australia Travel Declaration collects your contact details in Australia, flight details, quarantine requirements and health status.
Once the declaration has been completed, you will receive an email with details you can show (either electronically or printed) before you board your flight and again on arrival in Australia.
Failure to complete a declaration may result in you being denied boarding or delays upon arrival in Australia.
Please refer to the Australian Department of Health website for information on what must be shown in your COVID-19 PCR laboratory test result record, the preferred format for your test result record, what to do in the event of a positive or inconclusive test and what to do if you are a primary close contact of someone who has tested positive to COVID-19.
Your airline or local health authority can provide you with a list of recognised clinics, hospitals, or testing centres where you can get tested.

You need to apply for a Victorian International passengers arrivals permit to enter Victoria.
Please be aware that home quarantine will no longer apply from 11.59pm AEDT on Monday 20 December 2021.
Fully vaccinated or exempt overseas travellers arriving in Victoria after that time will not have to undertake 72 hours' home quarantine, but must get a PCR Covid test within 24 hours of arriving and isolate until they receive a negative result. They are also required to get tested again between five and seven days after arriving.
