Travelling to Los Angeles

Please note the following are NOT included in your partner package and are your responsibility to arrange.

FLIGHTS

Global Gathering Partners are responsible for booking their own flights to and from Los Angeles.

Please refer to the Package Inclusions page to align your flights. If you are staying longer and attending events outside of the main dates, you will be able to request additional accommodation on the registration site (refer to the accommodation tab for more information).

You will be asked to input your flights during the registration process so we can ensure your accommodation aligns with your arrival. If you have not booked these yet, you will be able to log back into your registration at a later date to provide these.

TRANSFERS

Transfers to and from the airport will be at your own expense. We can recommend the following transfer options:

UBER
UBER is available in Los Angeles. With Uber Reserve you can request a ride up to 90 days in advance.

Getting Picked up by Uber at LAX

Exit on the arrivals level (downstairs)
When you’re ready, open the Uber app to request a ride to your destination. Choose the LAX airport transportation option that suits your group and luggage needs.
For curbside pickups at LAX, select UberBlack, UberBlack SUV, or Lux.
For UberX, XL, Comfort, or Select, you will need to walk or shuttle to LAX-it. Look for LAX-it signage in the terminal to identify where shuttles are available.

LAX-it
Walk or take a LAX-it shuttle on the arrivals (lower) level curbside. They are expected to come every 5 minutes, and travel time to LAX-it is typically 15 minutes or less. You can also walk from Terminals 1, 2, 7, and 8.

Once in LAX-it, find your Uber pickup point:

UberX: either curbs 2, 3 or 4
Comfort, UberXL, and Select: back portion of curb 2

Taxi
To get a Taxi from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) you will need to head to the designated LAX-it area, either by walking or taking the free shuttle, which is located outside the baggage claim on the lower/arrivals area.

VISA INFORMATION

To travel to Los Angeles, you will need to obtain the relevant Visa or ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization) required from your country of origin for entry into the USA.

FCTG do not process visas on your behalf. Depending on your nationality, it is likely that your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end of your planned stay and have at least one blank page. Your passport must be in pristine condition with no damage.

You may be refused entry if you do not comply.

Important Tips

You must apply for your ESTA to enter the United States before departure. Your visa can take up to 72 hours to approve.

Travel Insurance is not included in your partner package, please make your own arrangements.

Meals will be provided at all major functions, including breakfast and a snack bag prior to and during Global Gathering Conference, any meals outside of this and items of a personal nature (e.g. phone calls, mini bar etc.), are at your own expense. Incidentals, will need to be settled with the hotel on check-out.

Deviations to the package options will not attract a discount, i.e. reduced number of nights, non-attendance at a function etc.
