Flight & Transfer Requirements

Flight and transfer arrangements will be made for all team members that require a flight to attend the Conference. Flights will be booked as a group booking and the timings have been selected to align with the Conference agenda.

*Please note some team may be required to arrive the day prior due to flight schedules.

How do I book a flight?

If you live in a location that requires you to fly to Melbourne, you will be asked to select flights to and from your closest airport during the registration process. If your closest/preferred airport is not on the list, please select “Other” and type in your closest airport. Flights will be arranged for you by the Bunnings Conference Team at FCM Meetings & Events. 

After registering, your flights will then be confirmed, in an initial confirmation which will be sent at the completion of your registration. 

Once you have been allocated to a group flight (this may take several weeks from registration) you will be able to see these flights in your airline app if you provided your frequent flyer number at the time of registration.

Further travel details including travel times, flight numbers and travel dates will be outlined in your ‘Final Confirmation’ email.

Are transfer arrangements included?

In your home state you may uber or choose to park at the airport. Please keep your receipt and use your store code when claiming back expenses in Workday. Please note carpooling is encouraged.

Upon arrival into Melbourne, the majority of team will be provided transfers to and from the airport. These will also be detailed in your final confirmation with full details which you will receive approximately 10 days prior to the Conference.

Important Information

  • Please do not book your own flights: FCM Meetings & Events will allocate your flights and provide details after you have registered for the Conference.
  • Flight alterations: Due to flights being booked as group airfares, you will be unable to alter your flights online. Online check in and seat selection will be available once your ticket has been issued. (approximately 2 weeks prior to the Conference). If you need to alter your flights for any reason, you will need to contact FCM Meetings & Events via bunningsconference@fcmtravel.com.au to request any travel changes (Note: these changes will be subject to approval and availability)
