Flight Information

Group flights are included for those attendees who require a flight to Brisbane. Please read through the flight information carefully as it has changed since last year. 

  • Alternative flight requests outside group flight bookings will only be permitted if there are extenuating circumstances
  • Written approval from your nation leader is required for all alternative flight requests or change from group flights
  • Alternative flight requests without written approval from your nation leader will not be accepted
  • Group flights are allocated based on a 'first come, first served' basis, if your desired flight is full, you will automatically be assigned to the next available flight
  • Your finalised flight details will be sent in the final confirmation email two weeks prior to the event
  • The above travel dates may vary depending on flight schedules e.g. Perth or Hobart
  • All groups are held as one-way flights so you will need to select both a forward and return flight option
  • Please take into account if you are rostered on for weekend trade when selecting your flights


Selecting Group Flights

In the registration site, to select your group flights:

  1. Do you require flights:  Yes / No
  2. Departure Port: Select your departure port. If your departure port is not listed, select 'Other' and specify your departure port
  3. Select group flight preference.
