Event Purpose

The 2024 Trade Expo presents a valuable opportunity for us to better engage, build long term loyalty and trust with commercial customers across all three segments (trades, builders, organisations). The Expo also allows us to generate short and long-term sales all the while reinforcing our commitment to our B2B customers. The Expos serve as a platform to showcase and exhibit the array of tools, materials and commercial brands available through our stores and through our account management to equip the trades.  

Bunnings Trade will also showcase the whole of build and service proposition to equip all commercial customers.  

Event Objectives

The aim of the expo will be to cement in the minds of customers our winning proposition of:  

  • Being the easiest to deal with in every channel
  • Delivering solutions that help customers run their business better, and that help them grow
  • Be consistent, reliable, doing what we say we will do

The Trade Expo allows customers to talk face-to-face with suppliers and deepen relationships with our commercial team. We want suppliers to broaden customer awareness of products, solutions, and innovations available through Bunnings to help customers grow and run their businesses. We also want to offer our not-for-profit partners the chance to engage directly and build relationships with our suppliers and commercial customers.  

Building confidence in our trade customers in the commercial offer and consequently generate customer sales and loyalty over the long term with existing customers but also to grow market share and attract new customers. 


Stand Objectives

For customers to get the most out of their day away from the office or jobsite, we’d like suppliers to:  

  • Display product range available to customers at Bunnings 
  • Reward existing customers, acquire new commercial customers and increase wallet share through exclusive expo deals and offers that will really stand out in the market available for one day only (please work with the Bunnings merch team) 
  • Educate customers and team on new product and innovation 
  • Strengthen relationships with commercial customers and Bunnings Trade team on the day 

These objectives should be considered before developing any content for your stand.  
If you would like support preparing engaging content for your booth, please don’t hesitate to contact your buyer who can brainstorm with you to ensure your content is relevant. 

Bunnings Trade will also have a stand that will educate customers on our whole of build service proposition. The Bunnings offer to customers will be rounded out by the attendance of our key not-for-profit partners who will also be looking to deepen relationships with both suppliers and customers.
