done on Event Days.
Thursday 23 May: 8.30pm - 10pm
Friday 24 May: 7am – 3pm*
Please note: The 3pm finish time refers to the time we have venue tenancy till and therefore your stands are expected to be cleared by 12pm of any materials and stock to allow Harry the hirer to take down walling and load the trucks before venue tenancy ends. Any contracted stand builder with the exception of Harry the hirer will not have site access until 9pm on event day to commence bump out. This is to allow our logistics provider to get crates back to stands and ensure the safety of everyone.

Melbourne Showgrounds require that all Event Organisers and Contractors register required compliance documents via the WHS Monitor Contractor management system.
All personnel, including event organisers, staff, contractors, sub-contractors, sponsors, volunteers, traders and exhibitors must complete an online safety induction and pass an assessment prior to entering Melbourne Showgrounds.
For previous attendees to the showgrounds you can log onto your account at: https://app.whsmonitor.com.au/oauth/whs Use your email address as your username and your previously set up password. There is a forgot password option at this step.
If your business has attended the showgrounds previously and you would like to induct new staff, either the designated account administrator from your business can provide the employee registration link or alternatively contact Mel Amato on melissa.amato@melbourneroyal.com.au and she will supply you with the staff registration link.
For businesses that have not attended to showgrounds previously they will need to register their business to begin the induction process.
The business registration can be completed online via this link: Contractor Registration
Induction steps below:
All employees, staff and hired contractors that are working on site, must complete a site induction before coming onsite. I have attached the instructions here for ease, and there is more information available in Venue Services Guide under page 9 &10.
In 2024, all exhibitor parking on event days will be located at the VRC via Leonards Crescent. A shuttle bus will be available to transport you and your team to and from the Building 1 entry throughout the day. If you enter via the incorrect gate, please follow security personnel's directions to your allocated entry point.
A supplier representative must be present to receive all deliveries, Bunnings and our logistics provider will not sign or receive deliveries on your behalf.
Deliveries will not be accepted during event days. Please ensure deliveries are scheduled during the bump in times. To avoid any issues, label all deliveries with your contact details, stand name and stand number.Deliveries will not be accepted prior to Tuesday 21 May at the venue.
Information such as name badge collection, OH+S plans, safety information, catering, WIFI, bump out information and venue information will be provided to you the week prior to the Trade Expo via email.
