Group Flights

This year for main date travel there are THREE group blocks from Johannesburg and Cape Town airports. If you require a domestic flight to one of these airports, the GG team will book these for you. Please include your preferred domestic flights in your registration.

Group Blocks are ECONOMY class only, there are no group seats in premium economy or business class.

Due to peak season group blocks are return flights only so you cannot book one direction on the group flight blocks.

Dubai Extended Transit

The Emirates Group Block from Johannesburg has an extended transit in Dubai on the return home from Los Angeles.  Emirates will be providing hotel accommodation for the night of the 15th of July for those who choose this group block.

Deviations and Changes to Group Blocks

There are a limited number of changes permitted on the Group Blocks. Changes will be managed on a request basis and are subject to availability.

If you would like to travel on different dates, please select OWN ARRANGEMENT in the flight selection on the registration form. 

Any applicable fare difference and a change fee will be charged and calculated based on availability at the time of request to the airline. Any cost associated with changes/extensions will be personally payable by you.

Deviations from group blocks is only permitted on the inbound flight i.e. departing Los Angeles. Area Leader approval must be granted prior to requesting this on the registration form.

You will not be reimbursed for flights if you book and ticket your own booking through another channel without approval. Approval is required from airmax@fctg.co.za

Regional Connections

Domestic connecting flights will be booked for those travelling from regional ports. Please request your domestic flight requirement on the registration form. If accommodation is required at an airport, the GG Air Team will manage this.

Seating & Frequent Flyer Memberships

The GG Air team can manage these requests, please provide the information during the registration process.

For preferred seating you will need to manage this directly on the airline's website via Manage Booking.

Changes to bookings after registration

Changes to Group Blocks AFTER departure are not permitted
